❤️ My Story
Hello, my name is Lisa Porcaro and my Tik Tok and Instagram is open for all to see my history.

After a hard time in my life, I found Jamaica(March2023) — the sunshine, the beach, the food, the music, and most of all, the people. I found love, family, and friends who welcomed me with open arms. Over the past 2½ years, I’ve visited about 18 times, and Jamaica has truly become my second home.

Behind the beauty, many families live in poverty, in small board houses with very few resources. My boyfriend, Nkasa, works full-time, helps to supports his children and sometimes his parents on a very small income. Minimum wage is approximately 95 US dollars for an 40 hour week. After the recent hurricane, which 99% flattened his house made of plywood, I’ve had no contact with them for over 72 hours, and I fear their homes may be destroyed and at this point, I have no idea where they are. I pray they have food and shelter.

I’m a teacher, and during my visits, I’ve taught Nkasa’s children and many neighbourhood children how to swim, and tried to give back however I can. They all get so excited when I come because I take 10 to 14 people to the beach and literally do two or three runs with a rental car.

When I go back on December 25, I want to bring hope — food, clothing, and funds to help rebuild homes and lives. As a promise of transparency, I will share photos and videos of me personally giving the funds to Nkasa, his family, neighbours, and friends. Every dollar raised will go directly to them to help rebuild their homes, restore comfort, and bring back a sense of stability.

Jamaica has given me so much love. I just want to give some back. ❤️
