Help Me Feed and Protect My Daughter and Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear compassionate friends,
My name is Traji Abed. I live in Gaza, where we are suffering from harsh humanitarian conditions amidst war and genocide. We were living a normal life; I worked as a teacher, and my husband also had a job, but the war changed everything. We lost our jobs and now live in extremely difficult financial circumstances.
After being displaced to the south, we lived in a tent that is unfit for life, providing no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold. We held onto the hope of returning to our home, but when we came back, we found our house reduced to rubble.
We had to build a tent on its ruins, but this tent lacks the basic necessities of life: no water, no healthy food, and no sanitation.
I have a baby girl, Ayah, who was born to us after twenty years of infertility. We were preparing to welcome her with joy and happiness. I had prepared all her necessities, and her father chose her clothes piece by piece, even building her crib himself from his eagerness to see her. But the war deprived us of everything. Ayah needs many essential supplies, but we cannot provide them due to high prices.
Additionally, my father-in-law, an elderly man living with us, suffers from several illnesses. We cannot afford his medication due to its high cost, and sometimes it is not even available. The most urgent matter is his need to travel to Egypt for eye surgery, but we do not have the money needed for travel or to cover the costs of the procedure.
I am asking for your help to raise £30,000, to assist us in meeting our family’s basic needs and providing the necessary treatment for my father-in-law. Every donation, no matter how small, will have a profound impact on our lives.
I am very grateful for any support you can provide, whether through donations or by sharing our campaign with friends and family. Together, we can make a difference in our lives during these difficult times.
With heartfelt gratitude,
