All of you know I have worked in the rescue industry for years, and my friend Monique and her family just lost everything on Christmas Eve in the California rains and mudslides. She has just recently survived breast cancer and her husband Ronnie is battling kidney cancer. Monquie has worked in rescue and saved so many animals for over 30 years. On Christmas Eve, they left for a doctor's appointment. Not 15 minutes later, they received a call from their 16-year-old daughter that there was a foot of mud and rain in their home. Everything they had was ruined, even the Christmas gifts under the tree. They rushed home and were forced to sit helplessly outside in their car, as their daughter and animals were trapped in their home for over 10 hours. Even the fire department couldn't help as the mud was like quicksand, and the water flowing down their street was too strong. Their landlord has no insurance, and they are now left with the total bill of cleanup and construction. Please help a great family that always helps others no matter what.
