Aid for Mom's Surgery & Recovery

Hi, my name is jalisa, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mom. She is 67 years old, full of love and resilience, but she is now facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She will soon undergo open-heart surgery, a high-risk procedure that has been made even more challenging by her ongoing weight-loss journey.

This surgery is critical to saving her life, but the road to recovery will be long and difficult. My dad, her husband, will need to be by her side every step of the way as her caregiver. This means neither of them will be able to work, leaving them with no income to cover their basic expenses, let alone the mountain of medical bills that will follow.

My mom has always been the rock of our family, a woman who gives so much of herself to others. Now it’s our turn to give back to her. She shouldn’t have to focus on how the bills will get paid when her main focus needs to be healing her heart, literally and emotionally. Stress is the last thing she needs during such a fragile time, and we are desperate to shield her from it as much as possible.
