Support for Our Injured Mom: Car Totaled in Accident

Our mom was involved in a serious car accident on Thursday, March 27 at 11:52am, struck by a reckless driver while she was minutes away from arriving at work. The other driver was exiting the freeway and ran a red light while attempting to cross an intersection where our mom had a green light. My mom couldn't react fast enough, It happened out of nowhere. The collision totaled her car, and shockingly, the driver didn’t even check on her after the collision. The impact left our mom injured and unable to exit the vehicle without assistance. Fortunately, bystanders called 911, and she was quickly transported to the hospital for medical attention.

As a single mom, her car was vital for her commute to work, and now, without it, she faces significant challenges. Her car took a huge hit and was totaled at the scene. She will not be able to work until her doctor clears her, and her financial situation is already tight. The injuries she sustained have required extensive medical evaluations at the hospital.

We are determined to support her through this difficult time, seeking assistance with medical expenses and any necessary payments. While her case is under investigation, we know that navigating insurance claims can be a lengthy process, and unfortunately, she lacks rental coverage for a replacement vehicle. She will be using metro bus transportation from now on until we wait for the insurance to decide their decision on her case.
