For as long as I can remember, my mom has been the strongest person I know. For the last 8-9 years, she has been battling chronic illnesses left and right. However, she managed to get through school and finish her bachelor's degree. She worked for the state of Nebraska, working with broken families and at-risk youth. She spent most nights up late making sure that other families were getting the resources they need.

Fast forward to now. Recently, we found out she had a very aggressive stage of breast cancer. Because of this, she isn't able to work, and my dad takes her to all the appointments, often missing work himself. As we know, cancer isn't cheap. Unfortunately, insurance is only willing to cover so much. With my dad missing work to make sure my mom is getting the help she needs, things have been hard financially. With all the bills piling up, we've decided to ask for help. All proceeds will go towards groceries, bills, and necessities for my younger brother. Any and all donations are so much appreciated.
