I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend Mohammad, a dedicated fourth-year medical student who strives to become a doctor within the next few years. His family is currently trapped in Gaza, desperately trying to escape the ongoing violence and humanitarian catastrophe.

We are raising funds to help Mohammad evacuate his family to safety in Egypt, their only viable path to refuge and survival. All donations will go directly to Mohammad to cover their urgent travel and resettlement expenses.

Mohammad’s Story:

My name is Mohammad. I study medicine in Egypt, but my entire family is still in Gaza. The situation there is beyond dire. There is no clean water, electricity, or reliable internet, and every day they live under the constant threat of bombardment.

To save my family, I need to secure their passage through the Rafah crossing, which requires coordination fees that are financially out of reach for us. Adults must pay $5,000 each, and children $2,500. My family includes my parents, four sisters, their two husbands, and five young nieces and nephews.

My father has lost everything — his home, his business, and any means of support. I am also struggling to continue my studies, as my family can no longer afford my tuition. I’m preparing to enter my third year this September, and all I want is to continue my education and become a doctor who can give back.
