Update: Welcome to the World, Baby Emerson
Dear friends and supporters,
We are overjoyed to share that Morgandy has given birth to a beautiful baby girl—Emerson, born on Mother’s Day (May 11th, 2025) at just 28 weeks. She weighed 2 lbs. 11 oz., and though her arrival came much earlier than expected, she is doing remarkably well. Emerson is already showing us how strong and full of life she is—our tiny miracle.

Emerson’s Journey in the NICU
Emerson is currently in the NICU, where she will likely stay for the next few months as she continues to grow, develop, and gain strength. Each day brings new milestones and new hope, and we are so proud of her progress.

Morgandy is Recovering Well
Morgandy has been incredibly strong throughout this journey. She is recovering beautifully and spending as much time as possible by Emerson’s side. We are leaning into our faith and trusting God’s hand in every step.

How You Can Help
Your support—whether through prayers, sharing this page, or financial contributions—means more than we can say. The medical costs, time away from work, and extended NICU stay are a lot for any family to carry. Every gift helps lighten the load and allows Morgandy to focus on being there for Emerson.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. We’ll continue to keep you updated on Emerson’s progress—your love and encouragement are a lifeline.
With all our gratitude,
The Hobert/Rolig FamilyHi, my name is Lindsay and I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter Morgandy (Moe) (and her other half David Rolig) who is currently facing a very challenging time during her pregnancy.
At just 26 weeks pregnant, she was placed on emergency bed rest due to complications and is now hospitalized at Tacoma General, where doctors are doing everything they can to help her safely carry her baby girl for as long as possible. She is expected to remain in the hospital until full term—potentially until August.
This unexpected turn has forced her to stop working, and as you can imagine, the emotional and financial stress is overwhelming. While we remain hopeful that her baby girl will stay safe and warm for as long as possible, we are also preparing for the possibility of a NICU stay, as the doctors have discussed several potential outcomes.
We’re asking for your help to ease the burden of living expenses, hospital-related costs, and everything that comes with preparing for a premature birth. Any amount you can give would mean the world to Morgandy, David and our family. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page and PRAYER for Moe, David and baby Emerson!
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers.
With gratitude
and
