Michael Kyer (my stepdad) recently fell on ice. His mother had a water leak and he had to rip her whole bathroom apart and buy all new to repair it for her. In the process of getting all the supplies into the house, he fell. He, unfortunately, broke his leg in three places and must have surgery this morning. He will be getting a rod put in his leg. Recently, Tricia Kyer (my mother) had a career change which left them temporarily without health insurance. As you can imagine, medical expenses are going to be quite expensive. Not only will they have to deal with medical bills, but Michael will be off work for some time as he will need to heal-which adds every day expenses to their financial stress. Going from a two income household to a one income household would be hard for any family in today’s society. My mother and Michael are always the first to help anyone that needs anything and never ask for anything in return. I know they would never ask for help even in a situation like this so I have decided to create this go fund me for them - to try to lessen any stress that we can. I know how hard things are for many people so we absolutely understand if you cannot donate, but if you are able, I know my whole family would be so grateful for any contributions.
