Aid For Michael Scrivens' Recovery

On September 21, 2023, Michael Scrivens was admitted to the hospital due to severe neck pain. While initial tests showed no alarming results, a subsequent fainting episode led to the discovery of a ruptured aorta, requiring immediate open-heart surgery.

The surgery was successful, but Michael’s recovery has been challenging, and he faces an extended stay in the cardiac ICU and a long rehabilitation period. During this time, Michael and his wife, Gennie, who is his primary caregiver, will be unable to work.
