Hi all, Sabrina and Darian here. If you know me and my husband, you know how much Mia means to us. If you don't, just trust me when I say—Mia is our child and no one could tell us different. We got her together 10 years ago and she's been our best girl through everything. She's had the best life we could give and has given us no issues with her health until this past year. In the summer of 2024 she had 3 mast cell tumors which she got passed but then this past Dec she started not being herself, not eating as much and throwing up here and there.

For the last week it has gotten worse. Mia has been in and out of different veterinarian hospitals trying to find out what is wrong with her. She's been non-stop throwing up/regurgitating and has not eaten a single thing. As of two days ago, we finally got some sort of idea that she has GI issues but are unsure yet if it's a chronic stomach issue or cancer. We were finally able to take her home, and a few hours later, we were right back at the ER vet, and she now has aspiration pneumonia and another $5k overnight stay at the ER vet.

This was not in our bingo card for the start of the new year. Having a new (human) baby at home and now dealing with all of Mia's medical bills has taken a toll that we just can't handle.

She's been on and off IV meds, fluids, feeding tubes, countless X-rays, ultrasounds, and an endoscopy. We just want our girl home and healthy, and per the doctors, she can live a healthy and hopefully long life once she gets past this enormous bump (if it's not cancer).

We're asking for help and literally anything helps—even sharing this with others.

We thank you so so much in advance and will take it day by day for now.

UPDATE as of 02/06 (as I am writing this)- She is spending another night in the ER vet because she cannot breathe on her own without being in an oxygen chamber.

UPDATE as of 02/07- Unfortunately our girl is now forever asleep. It was the worse news..she had an aggressive form of stomach cancer that was running rapid throughout her little body.
