May Q Needs Medical and Housing Support

Hi Friends,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my sister, May—one of the most genuine, hilarious, and resilient people I know. If you’ve ever met May, you know she has a rare and beautiful way of connecting with people—whether you’re a friend, a coworker, or a stranger in line at the grocery store, she makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. Her warmth, her humor, and her fierce love for her family are unparalleled. She tells the most charming stories and is unmatched as the most-accidentally-funniest storyteller of all time. May is fun personified.

May is an incredible mother, a devoted friend, a hardworking and compassionate coworker, and a loving sister. She has always been the first to step up for others—now, she desperately needs help.

May has multiple sclerosis, and it has reached a point where she is physically unable to work in her role as a dental assistant. There are days when her body does not function—she cannot walk, speak clearly, or see. On top of this, she is facing a frightening new medical diagnosis, requiring daily doctor visits for a month. The weight of all this is unbearable, and she is now at risk of losing her low-income housing apartment while fighting to get the care she needs.

My goal is $10,000 to Give May Stability.

It feels like an impossible goal but raising thousands of dollars will remove a sliver of stress so May can focus on her health.

I am asking for help to allow May a chance to get the time to devote to her health and navigate the American healthcare systems that is exhausting for anyone but even more so when added to the schedule of MRIs, infusions and insurance forms.

Donations will go toward:

Rent & Utilities – Ensuring she has a stable home as she continues to battle MS and the looming new diagnosis.

Living Expenses – Covering groceries, transportation, and daily essentials for May, Jaceer & Mya.

Medical Care – Helping with treatments, medications, and appointments.

She has an unmatched ability to make people laugh and cry with joy, and now it’s time for us to support a unique person who cannot walk alone any longer.
