Aid for Mateo's Funeral and Mothers Recovery

Hello everyone, on Sunday, November 24th, my sister Corinne went to the hospital due to some bleeding during her pregnancy. Just 3 days away from her expected due date, she found out her placenta had ruptured and was sent right into surgery for an emergency C-section. After the surgery, my nephew Mateo was born with no heartbeat. The doctors, not knowing how long he was without a blood supply and oxygen, could not determine his exact status at that moment. After receiving CPR, baby Mateo was life-flighted to Children’s Hospital and put on life support. During this time, Corinne was recovering from surgery and was not doing well herself, on top of not being able to see her baby. Baby Mateo was declining more and more every day. Due to multiple organ failure and swelling with blood in his brain, Corinne was told she needed to make her decision fast. She wanted him to fight, and he did until his body was ready and God called him home. On Wednesday, November 27th, Mateo was taken off life support and made his way up to the Lord.

Corinne is currently still in the hospital recovering from surgery and other complications that came along. During this time, Corinne and her boyfriend Milo have not been able to work. They are having to plan a funeral while still holding it together to take care of their almost 2-year-old daughter. The last thing they need is to be stressing over how to pay for their baby's funeral while maintaining their finances while being off work. Everything is so appreciated by our family. Being able to lay Mateo to rest in a manner he deserves is all we’re trying to do. Thank you for taking the time to hear about our little fighter.
