Aid for Marsden Family During Heartbreaking Time
Donation protected
Hi my name is Diana Oestreich. My son is Daniel Marsden who is the husband to Mandy Marsden and they share three beautiful children named Madilynn 14, Landon 3, and Kynsley 2. On Sunday July, 13 Mandy suffered an asthma attack unlike any she has endured before. Due to the severity of the episode Mandy was without air in her lungs or blood to her brain for a number of minutes. Her husband, Daniel, desperately performed CPR until the EMT arrived. Despite his best efforts, along with those of the first responders, Mandy went into cardiac arrest. She was then airlifted from Omak, where Mandy and the kids live while Daniel works on the road, to Wenatchee hospital. She was intubated and placed on life support immediately. During the following 9 days in the ICU a team of professionals ran a series of neurological tests, while making observations of Mandy motor skills. It is with a heavy heart that the team of doctors determined that Mandy had no brain activity and all movements were determined to be involuntary, meaning that without the aid of life support, her body would not be able to perform the functions necessary to keep her alive. At this point Daniel, along with Mandy’s parents made the impossible decision to remove Mandy from life support and let the lords will be done. As Mandy takes her final breaths and her next journey, Daniel will be stepping into the role of a single dad of 3 wonderful children. This will be challenging on all accounts including financial as he will not be able to work for some time. It is for help with daily expenses, as well as the inevitable cost of services needed to allow Mandy to begin her peaceful journey as she walks with the lord, that we ask you to please consider donating to this cause. Thank you all so much for your time and consideration. Daniel has asked me to remind anyone reading this to hold your loved ones close, because tomorrow is not promised. Thank you.
