My husband, Mark Chambers Jr, has been flown from Jerold Phelps Emergency Room in Garberville after an overnight stay to Stanford Tri-Valley Hospital to see a specialist for liver dysfunction. He will need to stay there for at least a few days. I will be heading down there tomorrow evening to be with him.
We will be needing financial aid to help us with all medical, travel, and food costs. I will be updating the goal amount as we find out the total of the medical expenses. We have already been struggling with the loss of his father at the beginning of the year, and were not in any way prepared for this. We will be using all our available funds which isn’t much until we receive our paychecks next week, and do not know when either of us will be able to return to work.
Mark is a beloved member of his community, a known hard worker who always lends a hand to anyone whenever he can, a father of one, and a cat dad to 4 beautiful kitties that miss him very much. We all are hoping his diagnosis and return home will be swift and manageable. We understand times are hard for everyone right now, but anything helps. Thank you in advance to anyone who is able to donate or share this.
