I'm Jeni, mother of Marge. I'm an acupuncturist who owns/runs her own business and like most dog parents, would do anything for her baby. Marge is a sassy, very self opinionated, adorable sidekick that is my best friend and the reason I do anything in this world. I mean, look at that face!

This week Marge decided to make an interesting choice and eat a hard plastic ornament that was hiding on the floor to counter a severe acid reflux flare. As a result, she had 3 trips to the er to got xrays, fluids, and sedatives to take the xrays. Fortunately I was able to bring her home to monitor her, otherwise it would have been in hospital stays. We luckily avoided surgery, but still incurred a decent cost with the 3 trips

I have insurance for her, which should cover some of the cost. I'm looking for help with what I'm estimating the insurance it wont cover. I'm a single income household and still early in my business and the last couple months have been slow, so income has been down and therefore the unexpected cost of this is a decent weight. I'm hoping to make the goal, and if there's anything extra, it will go to continued care for her healing.
