Thanks for your interest in helping out with Mango’s vet bills!

Mango started showing strange symptoms early Thursday morning. Initially our vet suspected that she simply ate a bug, as there was nothing obviously wrong in her physical exam. However, between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon, Mango ended up having nearly a dozen episodes. After taking her to the emergency vet, we now suspect that these were focal point seizures and that Mango may have epilepsy. We are still working towards understanding the underlying cause.

She ended up having to stay overnight at the hospital so that they could attempt to find the right medication and dosage to control her seizures. This has resulted in a considerable vet bill that is hard to cover on a grad school budget. Any assistance is appreciated!!
