Madison Carolina has had it rough since before she was even born. In many ways, she shouldn't even be here. Her father didn't want another pregnancy, and her mother, out of fear of violence, took herbal remedies to terminate her pregnancy. However, God's plans allowed her to survive. Nevertheless, her heart suffered the consequences of a malformation.

This year, just months away from her final exam to become a Doctor of Dentistry, her heart collapsed and she underwent surgery (ASD) for Atrial Septal Defect, "ostium secundum." This is heartbreaking. She was about to become the first one in her family to both make it to college and she was on the cusp of graduating from college. Her mother is facing this situation alone since she is a single mother. Her salary as a domestic worker doesn't exceed $200 per month. Unfortunately, private medicine has an enormous cost and the expenses must be paid. The sum is $25,000. It would be a miracle to assume her mother could even pay 1/1000th of this bill.
