Having folks come and assist with clearing out some stuff was a blessing.
Hearing from numerous people who are also feeling pain, loss and grief
that I had no real idea of what they were going through
From my high school friend who has five adult kids, and three of them have passed,
Most recently his son, named Brent, took his own life, another high school skateboarding
buddy who lost his son a few years ago
to my potspace buddy who lost an adult son just a couple years ago,
Another child who was in boyscouts with my son who is longer with us,
in the last year my childrens mother lost her brother and mother
the last couple years have brought the passing of my favorite aunt
my step mother passed, I'm reminded of the passing of my friends Pat,
Clark, Russ, jonathan B., my friend Sandra B.,my friends husband John G., so many more, the list goes on,
spouses, parents, brothers, sisters, Gaza, ukraine, all over the place.
Loss and grief is common to us humans while we are here.
Mike Ness said it well, "I guess today is my turn to hurt."
