On Tuesday, January 14, around 6 pm, my boyfriend Luis Gallegos and his parents, staying right on Lake Ave and Mariposa St in Altadena, had to evacuate their home. The fire that started at Eaton Canyon was spreading fast. They were only able to grab some documents, their cat and dog, and they rushed out, not imagining the worst and thinking they'd come back. Unfortunately, their home, neighborhood, and whole block burned to the ground. They truly did not deserve this! I'm asking the community for some support while they're able to figure out their next step. This is truly heartbreaking, and my heart goes out to the community and those affected.
