My family and I were originally planning to move to a slightly smaller and much cheaper apartment within our same complex to fend off our current heavily inflated rent rate.

Due to a recent unexpected injury, my brother now has both posterior tibial tendonitis and a calcaneal fracture. In the diagnosis process, they also found a bone spur on that same heel.

While I am out of the country, he is the main muscle for heavy lifting for the planned move, as well as currently our sole source of income at least over the summer. Due to this, we are unable to move at this time and instead are renewing our lease at our current location.

My brother is going to do his best to resume work, but against medical advice as he won't be able to work with either crutches or the stabilizing boot that the doctor has ordered him to wear during all active hours of the day for at least the next 6-8 weeks.

The amount we are asking for will help us pay for rent, bills, car insurance, and medical expenses, as well as giving us a small cushion for groceries and other small necessities going into this next month while we get back on our feet.

Once I'm back home in August, I will be able to help my family much more. Thank you for your support.
