Stand with Lindsay and Josh: A Path to Recovery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chrissy, and I’m Josh Storrer’s sister.

If you know my brother, you know he is one of the most loyal, loving, and selfless people you’ll ever meet. I’ve watched him pour everything he has into caring for his wife Lindsay and their children Maddie, Olivia and Emery—especially during some of the most heartbreaking and challenging times of their lives.

Lindsay has been battling Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), a condition that has turned their world upside down more than once. As her sensitivities and symptoms have worsened due to mold exposure, I’ve seen the toll it’s taken on her body, her spirit, and their entire family. Despite it all, Lindsay continues to fight with courage and grace—and Josh never stops showing up for her and their girls.

I’m creating this fundraiser because I believe deeply in the power of community, love, and hope. I want to help give them a chance at healing, peace, and being together again under the same roof. This isn’t just about a medical condition—this is about helping a family survive, recover, and rebuild their lives.

Six months ago, the Storrer's life was turned upside down—again. My sister-in-law Lindsay, wife of my brother Josh Storrer, is battling a severe relapse of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), a complex and debilitating condition triggered by mold exposure.

After years of healing from a previous mold-related health crisis, Lindsay recently discovered toxic mold in their current rental home, launching her body back into a state of extreme hypersensitivity. Her system is now so reactive that even basic necessities like food, water, sound, and everyday materials have become overwhelming triggers.

Lindsay’s symptoms are constant and intense—her heart races day and night, and her body is in a perpetual state of high alert. She’s had to move out of her home and is currently living in her in-laws home, separated from her husband Josh and their children. The emotional toll of this isolation is heavy, and despite her strength and hope, this journey is incredibly difficult.

Our family is doing everything we can to support Lindsay—working tirelessly to assess and remediate their home, explore new housing options, and provide her with the calm, healing environment she desperately needs.

We are raising funds to help the Storrer family:

- Find or secure a mold-free home in Southern California
-Purchase or rent a trailer (metal or solid fiberglass) for Lindsay to temporarily live in closer to her family
- Cover ongoing medical costs, detox protocols, and mold remediation efforts
- Offset the impact of lost income and additional living expenses

Our dream is to reunite Lindsay with her children and husband, and to support her on the road to full recovery. Every contribution—no matter the size—brings hope and healing closer.

If you can’t give financially, sharing this page, sending leads on housing or trailers, and offering your prayers or healing thoughts would mean the world.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Lindsay, Josh, and their beautiful family.

With deep gratitude,
Chrissy
