Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

With heavy hearts, we are reaching out during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Our beloved Larry recently passed away on May 24th, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with pneumonia and pulmonary fibrosis after 3 weeks in the hospital. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend to many. His strength, love, and kindness touched everyone who knew him.

We were devastated to learn that the life insurance claim we had hoped would help cover medical expenses and funeral costs has been denied due to circumstances within the coverage. On the same day, the HVAC (air conditioner) went out at their house in Surprise, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix) in the midst of 90+ degree temperatures and had to be replaced rapidly. The insurance denial on top of the prolonged ICU stay and emergent HVAC expenditure has left mom facing an overwhelming financial burden on top of our grief.
