Help the Employees of Laguna Beach Club in Caraballeda, Venezuela

My name is Oscar Rodriguez. My family owned Apartment 14-M at Laguna Beach Club in Caraballeda, Venezuela, and that place was part of my life, my family, and my memories.

Laguna Beach Club was never just a beach club for us. It was where we grew up, where families spent weekends together, where friendships were built, and where so many of us carry some of the best memories of our lives.

After the terrible earthquake in Venezuela on June, 24 2026 Laguna Beach Club was devastated. But beyond the damage to the buildings and the property, there is something even more painful: many of the employees who worked there for years, and in some cases for decades, have lost their livelihood.

This campaign is directly for the employees of Laguna Beach Club. People like Juan, Melanio, Teofilo, and many others who were part of the life of the club. They were not just employees. They were part of the family of Laguna Beach. They opened the doors, served the members, cared for our families, watched many of us grow up, and helped make the club what it was.

Now they need help.

The funds raised here will be handled directly by current members of Laguna Beach Club and will be paid directly to the employees, hand in hand. This is not a campaign for politics, for institutions, or for rebuilding buildings first. This is for the people. For the workers. For the families who depended on Laguna Beach Club to live.

Many of them have lost income, stability, and in some cases much more. In a country already hurt by years of crisis, this earthquake has made everything even harder.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping these employees with immediate needs such as food, medicine, temporary housing, clothing, transportation, and basic support while they try to recover.

For those of us who loved Laguna Beach, this is personal. We may be far away, but our hearts are still there. Laguna Beach gave us memories, friendships, and a piece of our lives. Now it is our turn to help the people who kept that place alive for so many years.

Mi nombre es Oscar Rodriguez. Mi familia fue dueña del Apartamento 14-M en Laguna Beach Club, en Caraballeda, Venezuela. Ese lugar fue parte de mi vida, de mi familia y de mis recuerdos.

Laguna Beach nunca fue solamente un club de playa. Para muchos de nosotros fue infancia, fines de semana, familia, amistades, recuerdos, y una parte muy profunda de lo que fuimos y de lo que todavía llevamos en el corazón.

Después del terrible terremoto en Venezuela el 24 de Junio 2026 , Laguna Beach Club quedó devastado. Pero más allá del daño a las instalaciones y a la propiedad, hay algo todavía más doloroso: muchos de los empleados que trabajaron allí por años, y algunos por décadas, perdieron su sustento.

Esta campaña es directamente para los empleados de Laguna Beach Club. Para personas como Juan, Melanio, Teófilo y muchos otros que fueron parte de la vida del club. Ellos no eran simplemente empleados. Eran parte de la familia de Laguna Beach. Abrían las puertas, atendían a los socios, cuidaban a nuestras familias, vieron crecer a muchos de nosotros y ayudaron a hacer del club lo que fue.

Hoy ellos necesitan ayuda.

Los fondos recaudados serán manejados directamente por miembros actuales de Laguna Beach Club y serán entregados directamente a los empleados, mano a mano. Esta campaña no es para política, ni para instituciones, ni para reconstruir primero edificios. Esta campaña es para la gente. Para los trabajadores. Para las familias que dependían de Laguna Beach Club para vivir.

Muchos han perdido ingresos, estabilidad y, en algunos casos, mucho más. En un país que ya venía golpeado por años de crisis, este terremoto los deja en una situación muy dura.

Cada donación, sin importar el monto, irá directamente a ayudar a estos empleados con necesidades inmediatas como comida, medicinas, vivienda temporal, ropa, transporte y apoyo básico mientras intentan recuperarse.

Para los que quisimos a Laguna Beach, esto es personal. Podemos estar lejos, pero el corazón sigue allí. Laguna Beach nos dio recuerdos, amistades y una parte de nuestra vida. Ahora nos toca ayudar a la gente que mantuvo vivo ese lugar durante tantos años.
