Aid for Kyle, Summer, and Their New Baby

When Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina, it negatively impacted countless families, now three months later, thousands are still struggling to get back on their feet. Kyle Brown and Summer Phillips, a young couple living in Burnsville, NC, are one of those families trying to keep things together.

If the past three months have not been trying enough, (they had to flee their home and find shelter elsewhere) Summer had the extra stress of being pregnant with their second child and the baby is due any day now.

Because of the storm and all the problems it brought with it, Kyle missed a lot of work and needed to use up the last of his PTO. With Summer due any day, and wanting to be there with Summer, Kyle will again be missing work and the all important income needed to keep the household running.

Which brings us to the point of this GOFUNDME.

To help Kyle and Summer, I ( David Paxton, friend and co-worker) am hoping to raise $1,000 to cover his lost income and maybe some baby food as well. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated!
