My name is Jasmine. I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my dad, Kurt Peterson.

About a month ago my dad was hospitalized because he was running a fever, he had a lot of pain in his side and back, and he was not able to urinate. He went to the hospital where they kept him for about a week because they found a 6 mm kidney stone in his system. Usually anyone can push through a kidney stone and take medicine, but in this case it was too big of a stone to pass through my dad's urinary tract. It cause infection in his kidney, and he had to have a procedure done where they had to stick a stint up his urinary tract so he can urinate or else the infection was going to spread to his blood stream and cause him to be septic. With that being said to this day he still has the stint in because if not the stone blocks his urine. He does have a procedure coming up on December 11th to remove the stone and take out the stint, because the doctor says that if he leaves the stint in it could harm his kidney. This procedure is a $10,000 procedure, and while the insurance I got for him will covered most - they did call me telling me we will need $2,205.00 the day of the surgery. As the only one in my home that has consistent work right now, and is staying on top of the bills being paid I do ask for any help at this time towards this amount. His surgery is on December 11th, this next Thursday. It would be greatly appreciated on both mine and my Fathers end.

Dicho esto, todavía tiene el stent puesto porque, si no, el cálculo bloquea la salida de orina. Tiene una cirugía programada para el 11 de diciembre para extirpar el cálculo y retirar el stent, ya que el médico dice que si lo deja puesto, podría dañar su riñón. Este procedimiento cuesta $10,000, y aunque el seguro que contraté para él cubrirá la mayor parte, me llamaron para informarme que necesitaremos $2,205.00 el día de la cirugía. Como soy la única persona en mi casa que tiene un trabajo estable en este momento y se encarga de pagar las facturas, les pido cualquier ayuda que puedan brindarnos para cubrir esta cantidad. Su cirugía es el 11 de diciembre, este próximo jueves. Tanto mi padre como yo les estaremos muy agradecidos.
