Aid for Kristopher Ackerman's Cremation and Family

My father, Kristopher "Tober" Ackerman, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, at his home while walking to his car to go to work. Days before his passing, he was fighting a bacterial infection in his lungs but was starting to feel better. I am waiting to hear back from the medical examiner's office to know how he actually passed. My father had been fighting with COPD for the past few years and had been hospitalized multiple times prior to his passing. We did not know how long he actually would have left each time he was hospitalized. We just didn't expect it to be so sudden.

We plan on getting him cremated per his wishes, and his ashes will be split between me and my little sister Piper (also per his wishes). I am not sure how much this is going to cost in all, but I know it's going to be quite a bit due to me living in Texas and he had passed in Oklahoma where he resides. Any money donated will be used for his cremation costs and travel costs, and I would like to try and set some money aside for Piper's ongoing orthdontic treatment, therapy costs,& college. I appreciate you for reading all this.

(1/20/25) Thank you to everyone who donated i was able to get my dad back so fast and i am forever grateful for the help i had recieved during the process, i closed the gofundme because we found out my dad paid for nearly all of my little sisters medical expenses before he passed, i was able to get her a bear with 2 sound bites of our dads voice in them, my stepmom got her keepsake urns for her portion of his ashes, since then we have also found out how he had passed. We miss you Dad.  I love you, Forever & always.
