On June 27th, 2025, I faced a medical emergency and was brought into care at the Candler Emergency Department. After receiving medical treatment consisting of 2 IVs, 10 blood draws, morphine through IV, and a CAT scan, I was diagnosed with a moderate to severe kidney infection as well as an ovarian cyst that will need follow-up monitoring.
I'm proud to get to work as a part of Savannah's service industry but have been without healthcare for several years and have lived independently since I was about 16. With the circumstances at hand and being unable to work for some time, I am opening my hands to support and love from others. My goal for this fundraiser is to ensure that during this time, I am able to stay housed, as well as cover the cost of the follow-up practitioner I have been recommended. Both of my grandmothers passed from a combination of ovarian and breast cancer, so the finding of my cyst is something I don't want to leave ignored. I cannot thank you enough for anything done to support me during this time.
