Aid for Kelly's Family: Medical Crisis Relief

My name is Kelly, and I am reaching out for financial help. This is something I never wanted to do, but I'm going to set my pride aside and ask for the help that my family needs.

I am a nurse and pretty much the "breadwinner" for my family but have not been able to work but a few days here and there since April. Because I just started a new job, I have not accrued any vacation/sick time, so if I don't work, I don't get paid. In April, I was terribly sick with an abdominal infection where I was hospitalized and missed about 3 weeks of work. I had just gone back to work when my mom had a massive stroke on May 10th. She was transferred to Grady Hospital in Atlanta where she spent 48 days. She was released from rehab on Friday to come home. Monday, she had a spontaneous splenic rupture which has required her to receive 8 units of blood so far, a surgical intervention, and a bed in ICU. The next day our AC unit died, and we need a new one to the tune of around $10k. Today, I found out my mom is having more abdominal bleeding and is not doing well. In the midst of that, I have taken on the care of my brother who is a quadriplegic. My mom has been his primary caregiver for almost 30 years. He also spent a week in ICU in Athens due to some respiratory issues. Between the time I have missed work, the trips back and forth to Atlanta and Athens, parking fees, food, extra household expenses, and the need for a new AC unit, we have depleted our savings. Should we take out a loan for the AC, that would place another monthly payment on us to manage. I am desperately trying to manage being a caretaker, a mother, a wife, etc. My faith is strong and my God is stronger! Several of my friends and family have reached out and asked how they could help and some have already done so even though I politely tried to refuse.
