Aid for Kathleen (Kathy) and Joe’s Post-Fire Recovery

Kathleen (Kathy) Christopher and Joe Connelly are planning to get married this December. They have both served in Education and are very dedicated to their students, colleagues, and school districts. Kathleen (Kathy), has been in Education for 25 years and with Katy ISD for 17years. She has recently received her Doctorate and continues to pour her time into serving in Education. Joe, has been a Science Teacher for 20+ years in Klein ISD and is well respected by all.

On Saturday, May 10 at 1am Kathleen’s home caught fire while both were sleeping inside the residence. It was an electrical fire that overtook the property. The fire climbed the wall and then passed through the attic, and spread over the entire property burning the roof and all ceilings. They lost all of their possessions due to fire, smoke, and water damage.
