Hello, my name is Brianne. I just turned 28 this month on the 20th. I am asking for help on behalf of my mom, Kara. She got hurt on the job about a month ago and was terminated due to that. She was not able to get the help for physical therapy or even get surgery because of her being terminated and losing coverage. She has a slipped disc that has really put a strain on her physical health. It’s just her and me since the passing of my dad back in 2011. Life has been very hard with just the two of us.
She’s had neck surgery back in May of 2022 and still trying to pay off the bills for that!
We need help for rent, utilities, etc. I know this is asking for a lot in spite of everything else that’s taking place in the world.
This is becoming very hard, and with me being epileptic, and now with other medical conditions. I have been in the hospital 3 times so far due to the stress of this all.
Also, I’m suffering with a pinched nerve and I’m not able to take care of myself due to the fact that I don’t want us to become homeless. I’m worrying about “what happens next, how are we going to survive”
We can barely make rent, utilities, groceries. Rent is $1330 plus car insurances, utility bills, we’re behind on medical expenses etc which will come up to $3,033 roughly/monthly. Running low on food in the house.

I’m working but don’t make enough to provide for us.I’m constantly in a battle with myself on if I should get multiple jobs to help us both, even though I am a medical assistant, I do not make enough. I’ve always put others before myself and my mom has always put me before her, now it’s time for me to help her!
The money raised will go towards, bills & monthly expenses to help us survive. I try my ABSOLUTE best to try to save in order to help out.
