To those of you who have Donated, words can’t begin to describe how grateful we are for each and everyone of you ♥️

Thank you for being here. Just three days ago on a beautiful morning like today, my family was waking up to what was to become their last morning together .

Excitement to spend time with family in Phoenix turned tragic as the silver Nissan Armada that they were traveling in, was clipped and rear ended by a bullet in the form of a pearl white Ford Expedition being driven by an elderly couple. There was no way to escape in the seconds that they had to get away, tragically.

The impact hurled the Armada into the dirt median of mile marker 190, approaching Wickenburg, and caused it to roll at least four times before it came to a stop upright facing North west.

The Armada did its job keeping the family safe and strapped in their seatbelts with airbags deployed all around. Faith however was not to be the same for our beloved Julio Cesar Vasquez who laid in dirt some 30 feet away from the Armada and in Rocio’s field of vision.

The Expedition kept traveling through the dirt median and was stopped some 1.7 miles down the highway, claiming that “they had brake failure” …

My 64 year old mom was airlifted to the nearest trama center and my 13year old niece was air lifted by her self to the closest children’s hospital. Rocio, my 17 year old nephew, my 24 year old niece and my 74 year old dad transported by ambulance To a hospital an hour away.

Our beloved Julio Cesar unfortunately passed instantly. He may have been holding on to the family pup Blue those last few seconds, who knows, but it’s easy to believe knowing the person he was. Blue was also hurled from the Armada and was seeing running away onto the desert brush and today the locals there are helping with his search. Thank you so much for your efforts!!

We have been so pre-occupied with everyone's recovery between two hospitals, and will be for months to come, but we must now take time to lay Julio to rest .

No family should ever have to go through this . With everything going on in theworld, we all know times are tough, but if you could help make it easier for Rocio and the kids. Please do. Julio would have definitely have done what he could for you.

Some of us knew him as Julio, others as Cesar, my kids loved him as their “Uncle Westside” but no matter what you knew him as , anyone who knew Julio knew him as a hard working loving Father of 3 and a loving husband of over 30 years to Roci as they were high school sweethearts that meet as neighbors from across the street in Los Angeles California when times were simpler.

We ask for any help that can be given for Julio’s 3 children and wife’s medical bills and other expenses and necessities as Julio had been the soul breadwinner for the family. At the moment we estimate over 75,000 in rapidly increasing medical bills alone . So anything helps and will be greatly appreciated.
