Aid for Julie's Cancer Battle and Family

Anyone that knows me knows I don’t ask for help. Over the last year, it has been a real struggle. I am asking for donations to help out Julie Lausberg and her family. She was not feeling well and she went to the ER on 4/11/25 She was admitted for 12 days and diagnose with thymus squamous cell carcinoma. She has and will be out of work for sometime. She currently has no insurance. We’re waiting on Medicaid to be approved. Tampa General has been great so far with the medical bills at the hospital. However, there are other tests (PET scan) that have to be done by a third party and have to be paid out of pocket. This one test is around $2000. Plus her medication.

She starts chemo on Friday along with radiation. That all has to be done in Tampa General in Brandon, which takes 1-1/2 to 2 hours one way. She will have to be driven every day for six weeks. I’ve exhausted my savings to keep all the bills paid and get my house back to a healthy place for her to stay after the flood. She still has her house with rent, utilities, and food that need to be paid for her kids and grandkids. They have limited income as they are in school. Julie is a very independent mom with no help. She has a lot of responsibilities. She carries a lot of weight. She has applied for disability but that’s going to take awhile. I’m hoping you guys can help them out. Anything helps. Thank you.
