My name is Chloe Fortier, and my family and I are trying to raise money for my father, Josh Fortier, who, unfortunately, had a stroke and is paralyzed on his left side. He has been in the hospital since December 28th.

Josh will be at the hospital in Illinois for a few more weeks before he is moved to a long-term facility, where he will start intensive rehab in Wisconsin. We will also be tight on money due to the cost of the rehab he will have to do. Josh is 44 years old and has worked for the city of Janesville. I am his 19-year-old daughter, and my brother is 18. We currently rent a house with my grandparents. We may have to move when our lease is up in April because we will no longer be able to afford the place we are living in due to the loss of my dad's income. My grandparents contribute to the expenses, but are on a fixed income and have bills of their own. We will greatly appreciate any assistance we can get.
