It is with a broken heart that I share that our colleague and friend, Kathleen McAndrews (39 year old mother of 14 year-old John, and wife of Steven) tragically passed away after years of battling cancer. Words cannot describe the sadness and grief we are all experiencing.

If you knew Kathleen professionally, you knew she devoted her career in the federal government bringing healthcare to the most underserved communities, but she was an even better person and had the most genuine way of connecting with people. Beyond work as a Senior Advisor at Health Resources and Services Administration, Kathleen leaves behind a family that is grieving and needs our support. Kathleen found so much joy and happiness in helping you and was truly living out her dream and professional calling.

Most importantly, if you knew Kathleen the person, she was an incredible mom, wife, sister, loyal friend, and daughter. Family was her everything and she will be proud to watch them grow while she looks down and helps them from the heavens.

While nothing makes sense right now, we promise to honor and grow your legacy Kathleen and hope we touched your life as deeply as you touched ours.
