Our family is facing an unimaginable tragedy. My mother and father in law, John and Carol Butler were recently involved in a devastating house fire that left them both badly injured and resulted in the total loss of their home and belongings.

In a matter of minutes, everything they had built and cherished was gone. They escaped with their lives, but they are now facing a long road to recovery — physically, emotionally, and financially. Both sustained serious injuries and are receiving ongoing medical care, with mounting medical bills and rehabilitation needs ahead.

Beyond their injuries, they have lost everything: their home, clothing, furniture, personal keepsakes, and the sense of security that comes with having a place to call home. Starting over from nothing is overwhelming, especially while healing.
