Aid for Jessica: Single Mom's Clothes Stolen

Hello, my name is Jessica. I am a single mother of 2 beautiful baby girls.

On January 19th, 2025, after washing all of my laundry at the laundromat, I requested to be picked up by a Lyft. I was picked up by a guy. When he arrived, he was parked on the other side of the street. I asked him to please pull over and park on the same side as the laundromat as I had about 8-9 loads of clothes. Once I was able to get everything in the car, the ride began. I had one stop added to stop at the store before being dropped off at home.

After getting back in the car from the store, we headed to my house. Once arriving at my apartment, I got out of the car and took the one bag of laundry that was on the seat with me. As soon as I shut the door and headed to the trunk to retrieve the rest of my laundry bags, the driver immediately pulled off, leaving me and my kids with nothing. All of my towels, rags, sheets, both of my daughters' entire wardrobe, my entire wardrobe—literally, we now have nothing!

I've reached out to Lyft multiple times to try and resolve this issue and possibly get my laundry back. They are helpless and told me to basically file a police report (which I did) as they are not responsible for personal items. The driver also finally responded 24 hours later, indicating he did not find my missing item/items (which is a lie because my laundry was indeed in his car).

Anyways, I am asking for your help to be able to try and replace any or most of the clothes/laundry that was stolen. As of right now, I am in no position to replace wardrobes/household items for 3 people as I stated before, I am a single mother with little to no help. Any and every donation is truly appreciated. If you're able to, please help me in this time of need.
