Aid for Jess: Hospital and Family Expenses

Jess and Okephief are high school sweethearts. Their dream of having a family saw many bumps in the road including having to utilize IVF. Currently they have one beautiful little girl and are pregnant with their second. A little boy! Jess recently had a scare and was hospitalized for several days with a mild placenta abruption. This hospitalization has not only increased this family’s hospital bills but has also caused Jess to miss work and use a lot of her previous leave time. Jess has been working extra shifts weekly in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at UVMMC to help build a savings and afford her maternity leave.
