Jerry Don and Jenny (Smith) Holder lost their home to a fire on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Thankfully, neither of them were home, and their two dogs Rip and Rosie made it out the doggy door to safety.

If you know Jenny, she may be a private person, but she exhibits the rarest work ethic and moral integrity that’s rare these days. If you’re blessed to be loved by Jenny, then you have a loyal, compassionate sister for life.

Jerry Don has faced many health difficulties in the last three years, ultimately resulting in him taking medical retirement in January. The stress of this fire to a man who already tries to provide and protect will be difficult. For Jenny, this was the home she was raised in that’s now reduced to ash.
