Aid for Jennifer After Erik's Tragic Passing

I've never thought I'd make a GoFundMe. There have been circumstances in life where help is always needed but never asked for. I am my mother's firstborn, Zachary Magowan, 1994. Since then, my mother, Jennifer, has endured, fought, and risen out of every circumstance life has thrown at her. She has lost many people she has loved but continues to have her children to lean on. My mother is a caretaker. My mother is a lover. My mother is a fighter. She lost her husband, Peter Verdini, in April of 2022 to an overdose. She then found herself fighting to find a place for her and my brothers to live and feel safe. She then met a man named Erik Pote. He proceeded to give her a safe place to stay with a warm hearth and food on the table. They then set out to build a home of their dreams in Lebanon, ME. Although there were many hardships, Erik and my mom were in love. Erik was a devoted father and a hard worker, and my mom had just been promoted at work. Late Sunday night, February 16th, 2025, Erik had gone out to plow after the weekend's snow. My mother, after not hearing anything for half an hour, went out to check on him and found he had been struck by his machine that he uses to plow. Despite efforts from her, my brothers, medical, and first responders, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

My mother and my two brothers, ages 18 and 16, need help. I can try as much as I can to provide for them, but it's harder than I ever anticipated. My mother cannot stay at the home they were building together and will not be able to provide enough financial support for bills while they are allowed to stay at the house for the time being. I do not know what will become of this, but anything will be exponentially appreciated.
