It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Joey Nelson Jr. (JB) who was taken from us far too soon on July 10, 2025, after being struck by lightning following a summer storm.

JB was a proud graduate of the Ware County High School Class of 2025, full of promise and deeply loved by his family, friends, and community. His sudden loss has left an unfillable void in the hearts of all who knew him.
