Aid for James: Starting anew after the flood

I am organizing this for my dad, James Lunsford, whose apartment suffered a devastating flood in Hendersonville during Hurricane Helene. He has lost most of his belongings (the landlord did not have flood insurance and he did not have renter's insurance). His apartment has not only been filled with water but also mud and sewage. He was able to salvage a box of clothes and has his dog, Teddy with him Most of his things will have to be thrown away, including furniture, remaining clothes, valuables, etc. I'm hoping to raise funds to help with temporary living right now, to go towards a down payment for a future apartment, and to help fill it with essentials once we get to that point. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us, as well as prayers! The funds would go directly towards helping him get back on his feet. For now funds will be managed in Newnan, GA where I live (Stephanie Stanley), as banks in Hendersonville are not currently able to run due to no internet or power. Thank you for your support!
