Aid for Injured Kitten's Vet Expenses
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
This sweet kitten was rescued in Fraser on January 21st a few days after rescuing his mom and siblings. He was found in a truck trailer full of scrap metal in an industrial area.
Once he was taken to the vet, they got x-rays and discovered the trauma and how much pain he was in. He had several, severally broken ribs along with having hypothermia, being underweight, being dehydrated, and he was lethargic. Due to his pain and breathing issues, he is in an oxygen chamber. He is also getting nutritional support, intravenous fluids, nebulization, and they’ve wrapped him up for the broken ribs.
He is currently at Wilson’s Veterinary Hospital in Romeo and his vetting has costed nearly $1,700 thus far. Which we had to pay out of pocket. Thankfully the vet has the rights to him now, so they will be covering all future expenses. However, as independent rescuers not apart of a larger organization, this is a cost that is nearly impossible for us to pay.
Please consider donating to help us cover the cost of the vetting he needed to get strong and healthy so he can find his forever home, and to allow us to continue to rescue cats and kittens in the Metro Detroit area, especially during these cold winter months.
Thank You,
