Covid Aid For Mysore
Together with Operation Shanti, Wasatch Ayurveda & Yoga is raising money to help provide Covid relief to those who live in Mysore, India and are being severely effected by this second, deadly wave of Covid-19.
The money raised will go directly to trusted people in Mysore via Operation Shanti, and dispersed to individuals we know are suffering now for lack of food and basics.
Tracy Kunichika and Anu Ganesh are our women on the ground, who will be helping direct the management and administration of your generous donations in Mysore. All donations are deposited directly into the Operation Shanti account so your donation can go to work immediately!
So far, these funds have helped:
- Cook and provide meals 3x a week to the homeless population
- provide masks and hand sanitizer to the poor
- provide grocery deliveries to those who are struggling or out of work
- help pay for vaccines when they become available
- provide some financial stability to families who are out of work due to the pandemic
As a Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and business owner of Wasatch Ayurveda & Yoga, the current crisis in India has called us to action. I encourage all who benefit in some way from the practices that come directly from Mother India to donate to this cause. Do not take wihout giving back!
Operation Shanti Mission:
Every day we provide essential human services--food, shelter, educational and medical assistance--because only after their basic needs are met can the destitute begin to help themselves.
