In Loving Memory of Oliver James

Hello everyone: I’m here to give an update on how our family is doing. I just wanted to extend the biggest thank you to everyone who has donated to me and my family. On August 5th my husband and I went in for a routine ultrasound and we were notified that Oliver’s heart was no longer beating. I ended up getting induced and he came into the world at 9:26 pm. Oliver James was 9.25 inches, and 10 oz. We stayed with him for the evening and part of the following day, but had to say goodbye Tuesday afternoon.

This was quite possibly the hardest thing we have had to go through, and trying to explain it to our children has been very difficult. My three year old was crying because she “just wanted to hold him and show him our big kid toys.”

We love each and every one of you and we cannot express how grateful we are of all the support and kind words that have been sent our way.

Hey everyone. My name is Illy, I’m 23 years old and I have an amazing husband, Gabe, and 2 incredible daughters, Juliette and Adeline. We are making a GoFundMe for some extra support during an immensely tough time for our family. My husband and I worked for the same company, when he unexpectedly lost his job due to new management. We just moved into a new apartment and bills have been very tight.

Alongside this, we have another big concern. I am currently 17.5 weeks pregnant. We are having a boy! (Oliver James) During some recent findings, we found out that our son has Downs Syndrome as well as a hole in his heart and some other physical issues as he is developing. This has caused great stress in our life and we just want him to be okay. We are very worried of something going wrong, and are not sure what to expect in the near future. He is high risk for stillbirth and miscarriage.

I have had to miss multiple days of work due to spur of the moment doctor’s appointments and ER visits due to some concerning things happening while pregnant. We are in a very tight spot financially and need a little bit of help. Anything that is donated will be appreciated. I will keep you all posted with updates about our son as well as updates on my husband’s search for work.
