This past Sunday, April 20th, the last day of Passover, a 48-year-old Bukharian father took his 18 and 8-year-old sons shopping with him to 108th Street.
The father and 18-year-old son parked and came out of the car while the 8-year-old stayed inside the car.
The 18-year-old son was approached by a group of 4 thugs led by 16-year-old Bukharian thug Nathaniel Kimyagarov, who was armed with a knife.
They started confronting the 18-year-old son, and when the father intervened, Nate Kimyagarov stabbed the father in the stomach with a knife, causing about a 12-inch deep cut. The father, who was fighting for his life, grabbed the knife on the sharp end and badly injured his 2 fingers; the tendons of his fingers got cut, and he can't move them now.
Igor, the victim, was discharged from the hospital today with lots of pain after a very long surgery. The doctors saved his fingers and also stitched his stomach. Igor is a hairdresser by profession and needs his fingers for his job. Unfortunately, he won't be able to go to work and support his family for the next 3 months until he fully heals.
