Aid for Hillstocks: Fire Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Meet Roy Hillstock, a retired school worker who has always had a passion for horse racing, and his wife Beverly Hillstock, a retired teacher with a love for reading. Together, they have spent 56 years in their cherished home in Altadena, California—raising 4 children, celebrating countless holidays, and making memories with their 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Their home was not just a house; it was the heart of family gatherings, birthdays, BBQs, and celebrations that brought joy to all who entered.

Sadly, like so many others in their community, Roy and Beverly lost everything in the devastating Eaton Fire. In an instant, their beloved home was destroyed, and with it, the treasured possessions they had collected over a lifetime—including priceless mementos like Beverly’s late mother’s belongings. They were forced to evacuate with only the clothes on their backs, leaving behind memories and keepsakes that can never be replaced.

Roy and Beverly are safe and have found shelter with one of their daughters and her husband. But their journey to healing has just begun, and they need our help. Every donation made will go directly toward supporting the Hillstocks in their recovery, allowing them to start over.

Throughout their lives, Roy and Beverly have given so much to others. They’ve volunteered with their church, helping to feed families who have suffered losses and providing companionship and comfort to the sick and brokenhearted. Now, it’s our turn to help them in their time of need.

All funds raised will be entrusted to their daughter, who is dedicated to ensuring Roy and Beverly are cared for during this difficult time. Your support, no matter the amount, will make a world of difference and help them recover from this devastating loss.

Please consider donating today and sharing their story. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
