Aid for Hazel's Critical Vet Expenses
Donation protected
Hi everyone, we’re the Contizano family, and we’re reaching out for help for our sweet girl, Hazel.
After returning home from a funeral, Hazel suddenly became very lethargic—she wouldn’t eat, drink, or even move much. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where they ran blood work, did imaging, and discovered she has two masses near her stomach possible cancer and a serious intestinal blockage that’s preventing her from going potty.
Her initial emergency visit cost us $1,200, and she’s currently undergoing surgery for the blockage. The estimate for this procedure is between $2,000–$3,000. Once she recovers, she’ll also need surgery to address the masses.
We’re doing everything we can for her, including taking out a line of credit to cover the expenses. I’m active duty military, and we’re relying on a single income right now—so any support, no matter how small, means the world to us.
If you can’t donate, we completely understand—your prayers and good thoughts for Hazel are just as appreciated.
Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can offer. We’re truly grateful.
