Hello,

Daniel Haywood, beloved father, husband, colleague and friend of many at Bellevue Hospital as well as the Hunter College, NYU and Cooper Union communities, suffered a series of heart attacks on November 18. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital where, after a series of tests, he was declared brain dead on November 20. All means of life support were removed on November 21, 2025. He is survived by his wife and 16-year-old son.

We have created this Go Fund Me because so many people have asked "How can I help?" All funds will be used to help pay the family's bills as his wife and son make the transition to life without him. Whatever you give is deeply appreciated.
