Aid for Haley's Mom: Cancer Care Needed
Donation protected
Hi my name is Haley and my mom is one of the hardest-working, most selfless people I know. She has spent most of her life putting others first — working long hours, caring for my dad (who has been disabled for over 15 years), and making sure we’ve had what we needed even when she didn’t.
Despite her strength, this is more than she can carry alone — and that's why I’m asking for your help.
Recently, her doctor suspects she has skin cancer on her hands and face, and the reality of what that means has been overwhelming — physically, emotionally, and financially. The treatment she needs includes removal of the affected skin, follow-up doctor visits, and recovery time off work — none of which she can afford right now. We need to start with biopsies right away since the area has been growing and changing rapidly and it’s getting worse the longer we put it off.
She doesn’t have health insurance, and the out-of-pocket costs for the procedures, lab tests, and post-treatment care are more than we can manage alone. And even more urgently, taking time off work — even for a medical emergency like this — means losing the income she relies on to support both herself and my dad.
-We are raising $15,000 to help cover:
-Skin tests and treatment (removal of lesions on her hands and face)
-Follow-up visits and medications
-Recovery costs and time off work
-Any unexpected expenses related to care
If you’re able to donate or even just share this page, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps and brings us closer to making sure my mom gets the care and rest she needs — without having to worry about choosing between her health and her ability to support our family. It's extremely important this gets taken care of now before it gets much worse.
She’s embarrassed that I’m doing this, because she’s never been one to ask for help. But she has carried so much for so long — now it’s her turn to be supported.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
